Naturally, the golf press is feeling scoldy, paying particular attention to a since-deleted DJ Exodus tweet from 3 a.m. that says Kim popped 115 bottles of Champagne.
Except, of course, that Kim had surgery on his thumb that forced him to miss the British and U.S. Open, plus cost him a spot on the Ryder Cup team.

For a guy fighting the image of a man who chases fun too deep into the night, Las Vegas would have been the perfect place to win,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or at least make a strong showing.
So, Anthony Kim went a little hard at the clubs the other night and then, saying there was a problem with his thumb, withdrew from the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital for Children Open.
Isn’t golf just an excuse for guys to go drink outdoors anyway?
Kim hasn’t finished under par since before he had the surgery in May. Maybe, just maybe, it’s possible that having a digit hacked into will affect your golf game than staying up late the night before. And for God’s sake, get over yourself, golf. Would spreading out 115 bottles of Champagne even slowed down Ken Stabler? Would he have even noticed?
Whatever happened to Anthony Kim in Las Vegas this week,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it goes down as a failed opportunity.
